Terms of Service

Last updated 21 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of Seiyr’s website and app. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Responsible Gaming commitments.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to use Seiyr where real-money play is offered. By using the platform you confirm you meet the age and eligibility requirements for your location.

2. Skill, not chance

Seiyr is a game of skill: outcomes depend on your knowledge and judgement, not on a random draw. It is not a sportsbook and is not gambling. Where real-money contests are offered, they are operated under the applicable contest and licensing rules for each jurisdiction.

3. Your account

Keep your login secure and your details accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.

4. Entries, prize pools & our commission

Arenas may be free or carry an entry fee. Every entry goes into one pot, which grows with each player who joins.

Seiyr’s commission comes out of the pot before anyone is paid: 5% on arenas, 1% on head-to-head duels, and nothing at all on free arenas. What remains is the prize pool. The rate shown to you before you enter is the rate charged.

Some free arenas carry a prize funded by Seiyr rather than by entries. No commission is taken from those.

Anyone can create an arena. Inside a community, its owner, admins and hosts create them. Outside a community, an arena is invite-only — shared by link or code — and you can have up to 2 of your own running at once.

The host sets how the prize pool is shared: winner takes all, or split across the top three in percentages they choose. The split is shown on the arena before you enter and cannot be changed once it is running.

A league is paid for in full when you join, covering every matchweek of its run. It may settle week by week or on the final table, as stated on the arena.

An arena needs at least two entrants. If one reaches its first kickoff with fewer, it is cancelled and every entry fee is refunded.

5. Picks & settlement

Picks lock five minutes before the first kickoff of the matchweek an arena is playing, and cannot be changed afterwards. Multi-week leagues and cups open a fresh picking window for each new matchweek, but close to new entrants at their first kickoff.

Scores are calculated from match events using the published scoring system, which is shown in full under How to play and is read from the same engine that settles every arena.

In Draft mode a team can only be held by one player in an arena; in Open mode anyone may pick any team.

Our settlement of results is final, save for obvious error.

6. Communities

Seiyr is free to use. Anyone can create a community at no cost, run as many as they like, and invite as many people as they like. Joining a community is free.

A community is run by its owner, who may have admins helping them. The owner and admins run the community and its arenas; everyone else is a member and plays.

A community’s day-to-day conversation happens in its own group chat on WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram. Seiyr links to it but does not host or moderate it, and those services’ own terms apply there.

Community arenas are private to their community and are not listed in the public lobby. An arena set to repeat is put back up automatically each matchweek until an admin stops it.

Owners and admins may approve or decline join requests, remove members and pause new arenas. Removing a member ends their access; results they have already recorded remain on the community’s table.

Deleting a community closes it for everyone, stops its arenas repeating and archives anything still running.

7. Content & conduct

You own what you post. By posting in an arena you grant us the licence needed to display it to the people that arena is shown to.

Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or that impersonates another person.

Any player can report a message in an arena’s banter. Community owners, admins and moderators may remove members. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Wallet, verification & withdrawals

Withdrawals require identity verification (KYC) and are subject to per-transaction and daily limits, a short hold on newly created accounts, and a requirement that deposits have been played through before winnings are cashed out.

Stakes above a set threshold require verification before you can play them, to protect against collusion and chip-dumping.

9. Referrals

Inviting a friend can earn you both a reward when they join and make their first purchase. Rewards are credited to your wallet as coins, and may be withheld for self-referral, fake accounts or other abuse.

10. Fair play

No bots, collusion, multiple accounts or exploitation of bugs. We may void entries, withhold prizes or suspend accounts that break these rules.

11. Liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; we’ll post the new version with an updated date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
